Learn The Best Six Pack Exercises

Learn The Best Six Pack Exercises
If you have ever tried to develop a solid six pack of washboard abs then you will understand how difficult it can be. Doing constant sit ups and excessively long cardiovascular work can become annoying after time if you are not getting the desired effect. But it can be very different if you follow a sensible plan.

There are a few examples in ab development that are often overlooked. The initial point is the need for a good diet. This may not strike you as exciting news but it is the kind of info that will make a difference. If you have a poor diet then you will not see those abs coming through. You can have solid muscle hidden underneath that layer of fat but nobody will ever know. Go to the truth about abs
So aiming to eat good and healthy food should be an important first step. Try to cut out any foods that are not helping you such as sugary foods, pasta and any junk food. Aim to eat about 6 to 8 small meals each day instead of just a few large meals. This speeds up metabolism and sets you on the right course. Also get into the habit of drinking 8 large glasses of water throughout the day.

So when you have planned your new diet it is time to move onto the exercise. There are constant disputes over the most effective ways to get abs. Some people get great results from cardio and plenty of crunches while others do not approve of this. There are definitely many examples of people who do constant sit ups and jog miles each day but do not get the desirable body they want.

It may be wise instead to stick to moderate periods of crunches of 3 or 4 times per week and no longer than 10 minutes each time. This is all you need to develop your abs as well as the dietary changes.

As for cardio work there is also no need to spend hours each time doing this. Try doing some hard paced work in short bursts in place of the usual slow and long periods of cardio. Think about a short distance runner over a long distance runner and you will notice the difference in muscle mass. Th elast thing you want is to lose muscle instead of fat so keep away from slow and drawn out cardiovascular routines.

Finally it is a good idea to include some regular weight lifting into your routine. Work on the standard exercises which include squats, dead-lifts and the bench press that can be instrumental in growing muscle while working off fat. Sticking to a routine like this can lead to a great six pack and a strong body which is what most people want.
